FINDING YOUR INNER PEACE

Staying fit and healthy while cleansing our bodies gives us the endurance and strength we need, but we also have to keep in mind that it is truly beneficial that we also cleanse our mind that continues to race with everyday life.

Staying centred and grounded within ourselves allows us to cope with everything. Yoga and Meditation have been wonderful things that I have done throughout my years especially being a dancer. Let’s face it, stress can arise at any given moment in our lives but it truly is beneficial having certain tools that you can apply to your daily routine in order to release the stress or angst that can build unconsciously. Grounding yourself and raising your vibration not only feels good, but just eases you into your next move for the day or week ahead.

I’ve learnt over the years that no matter what or however busy things may get, it’s always good to set out time for yourself at any point of the day that suits you to help you come into alignment and just breathe.

We are allowed to give ourselves the permission to pause.

Get out in nature, breathe the fresh air, go for walk or just be still. Whatever you feel that your body needs is what is essential to finding that inner peace.

I find many guided meditations are helpful in order to allow your mind to listen to the guidance and help you switch off from thinking what groceries you need to get or housework you need to get done. I could sit here and recommend so many that I personally love to use, but I feel that it is something that you want to trust yourself enough that you will gravitate to what resonates with you, for you. YouTube is great for many meditations and once you find what suits you, trust me it will be something that you look forward to everyday.
