ZOOM 5 6 7 8!

So I guess you can say everyone this year of the COVID-19 2020 pandemic, has become very adaptable to change.

I went from teaching in the studio to zoom teaching within days. We all did, and when I say we, I mean the world!

I personally love change because it allows you to feel uncomfortable for a little second. We don’t grow in our comfort zone so life always shows us ways to say, “hey times are changing, are you on board or not?”

Yes I am!

Now did I love doing zoom, no not really but I was in deep appreciation that I was able to work knowing how many people sadly lost their job. This broke my heart seeing so many things around the world just shut down, and people I hold close to my heart lose their jobs due to the forced closure.

Seeing the world restore a new is something that I think we needed, as it was already dying the way society made things acceptable. We need the change and we need to believe that this will be the start of something great. Sometimes we are not meant to know all the answers, but with a little faith and trust, you can always believe in the greater outcome.

So here we are in the midst of change, and if we take a look within ourselves, we can’t help to see how a lot of us have stepped outside of the box and took a leap of faith into the unknown with open arms. Brushing up on different skills we never thought we had, perhaps even taking a different career path altogether. If it were not for this forced change, we never would have discovered a new side to life.

Change doesn’t always mean easy and breezy, the challenging yet difficult choices is what pushes us to fight for what we believe we need within ourselves as individuals.

So again, did I like doing Zoom? Mmmm still no, not really but I am grateful for the lessons it taught me and I can’t say I didn’t have some fun with it along the way. My daughter and I were having fun dancing at home everyday and she was like my little assistant when putting choreography together. It is these moments that are special and that we are able to connect with not only people that are at an arms length away, but even across the world we can remain connected through every social platform.

And for that, we can be thankful..
